A former British bookseller is mourning Amazon.com Inc.'seffect on the bookselling industry but he isn't getting a lot of sympathy.
Tim Waterstone argues in The Guardian that "new authors, building their customer base, need physical bookshops" and Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN) is killing bookstores. Poppycock,says Forbes, where one blogger opines that new authors don't need bookstores and Amazon isn't killing the book industry because the number of books being sold is growing
